Nicholas Wood, PharmD

Dr. Wood grew up in Emmett, Idaho, a small-town northwest of Boise. After graduating from Idaho State University College of Pharmacy with his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2017, he completed a Post-Graduate Ambulatory Care Specialty Residency with Family Medicine Residency of Idaho (FMRI) in Boise, Idaho. Immediately following residency, he moved to Eugene and began providing clinical pharmacy services at River Road Medical Group. As an advanced practice pharmacist working closely with providers via collaborative practice agreements, he is able to perform specific patient care functions including initiating, adjusting, and discontinuing medications, order and monitor laboratory studies, and perform limited physical assessments for various conditions (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, heart failure, anticoagulation, etc.).

His professional goals include being and integral part of an outpatient, multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve quality and patient outcomes by focusing on medication management.

When he is not working, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife and two children.
